Who We Are
In the wake of the Kosovo War’s conclusion in 1999, the resilient people of Kosovo embarked on a journey of profound transformation, aligning themselves with the cultural and social dynamics of the nascent 21st century. Yet, despite strides made, the envisioned social and economic advancement requisite for meaningful integration into the modern global landscape remains unrealized. With this imperative in mind, a cadre of young, globally-educated citizens united to establish the NGO Me Dhe Për Kosovën – “With And For Kosovo” – dedicated to the comprehensive empowerment of Kosovars.
True to our namesake, Me Dhe Për Kosovën, our assembly of members converges to leverage collective knowledge and expertise, catalyzing tangible progress within our cherished nation. Hailing from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, our members have borne witness to the world’s finest advancements, aspiring to see these positive socioeconomic dynamics flourish within Kosovo’s borders.
Acknowledging the nation’s incremental advancement since 1999, we recognize the journey’s languid pace, occasionally punctuated by hardship. Yet, we remain steadfast in our conviction that Kosovo’s potential remains largely untapped, awaiting the synergistic application of judicious policies, unwavering commitment, and sincere dedication.
As stewards of progress, we eschew assigning blame for Kosovo’s present socioeconomic landscape. Rather, our mandate is singular: to discern the imperatives for change and craft actionable initiatives capable of yielding tangible outcomes. In doing so, we endeavor not only to effect change but also to set a precedent illustrating the transformative power of diligence, dedication, and sincerity.
Central to our ethos is the conviction that effecting meaningful change transcends mere political posturing. Likewise, we reject passivity, urging our society to eschew reliance solely on governmental and international interventions. Kosovo’s trajectory is a shared responsibility, incumbent upon all who identify with its essence to contribute meaningfully to its ascent.

Echoing the immortal words of John F. Kennedy, we embrace our patriotic, religious, and moral obligation to elevate Kosovo.
